Working more productively: 1&1 expands portfolio with Microsoft Office 365

1&1 (http://www.1and1.com/) is expanding its portfolio for small and medium-sized businesses and extending its product family with Microsoft Office 365. Together with its other professional e-mail solutions, 1&1, one of the world’s leading hosting providers, now offers its customers everything they need for professional business communication from one source. Also new is the free initial Office 365 setup and migration service by 1&1 experts.

“A lot of self-employed and small business owners nowadays communicate from many different places, in and outside of the office and from different devices,” says Robert Hoffmann, CEO 1&1 Internet SE. “Therefore, the trend is towards cloud-based business solutions. This is exactly what we’re doing with Office 365. We’re offering a care-free package’ so that our customers can concentrate on their core business and not worry about anything else.”

New: Experts help with the initial setup

With the launch of Office 365, 1&1 is offering a special setup service for the first time: customers can opt for a free initial setup of their Office package, e-mail box or domain as well as the migration of their data by 1&1 experts.

“Whether a customer wants to replace their previous business solution or if they are a self-starter – we want them to be able to get started right away,” Robert Hoffmann explains. “We are happy to support them with our expertise.”

Working more efficiently with comprehensive Office solutions

1&1 Office 365 packages make daily working life even more efficient and include common Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, which depending on the customer’s chosen plan, can be used via web browser, download software or Office Mobile Apps on up to five PCs or Macs, five tablets and five smartphones per user. Additional features like e-mail and Skype for Business are available. All users benefit from automatic updates: the Office Suite included in Office 365 is regularly updated and always current. Users who have the software installed on their PC or laptop can start automatic updates with just one click.

In addition, the more extensive Office 365 packages provide one terabyte of OneDrive for Business online storage. This enables employees to access files and work together from anywhere.
